November, 2003 - We've removed the Guestbook from our site. We had an astounding array of people posting to it that were only doing it to add their links. Our site was advertising porn, drug testing, prescriptions, you name it. Given the international flavor, we have proven that America doesn't have a monopoly on the jerk market - they're everywhere! Thanks for restoring our faith in humankind.
September, 2003 - Fredric was elected Senior Patrol Leader of Troop 14. This is the senior leadership position of a boy scout troop. Fredric remarked, "When I started in Scouts I thought I'd never be one, they looked so old. Now I am!"
August, 2003 - Congratulations to Kena on her promotion to Fashion Director of the College Times. Now she is personally responsible for warping the fashion sensibilities of all those nice freshmen at ASU into something like this. Just kidding, Kena!
July 26, 2003 - After working his butt off for 4 years, Fredric has achieved Black Belt in Kenpo Karate. He can put his hand and foot through stuff that's really hard (like boards, bricks, skulls). The exam was particularly grueling, starting at 7am and going until 10:30 pm. Fortunately, he retains his cheerful disposition! Right, Fredric?
May 27, 2003 - After thoroughly burning out an entire school of teachers, Fredric is moving on to pursue additional opportunities in high school. Congratulations Fredric for finishing the elementary phase of your education!
May 17, 2003 - Congratulations to Fredric for being elected to the Order of the Arrow! He can't talk about it (so he says) but apparently the initiation required a lot of work.
April 21, 2003 - Karol walked away from Cal Micro and into Rogers Corporation today. As a process engineer, you'd think she'd at least tell her parents what she does, but no! It's proprietary, she says. Very mysterious.
Mar. 21, 2003 - Karla furthers her visibility in the real estate market by releasing her Web site to the world.
Mar 15, 2003 - Dave has accepted a position as Practice Manager for the Open Software practice at EMC Corp. Practice makes perfect, one hopes.
Jan. 30, 2003 - Karla was hired today by the Russ Lyon Realty Company after two weeks of interviews with various agencies. If you are looking for a home in the Phoenix/Tempe/Chandler area, you now know who to call.
Jan 30, 2003 - Kena's first feature as a fashion editor was published in the College Times. She promises that next time the models will actually be wearing the clothes.
Jan 13, 2003 - A big congratulations to Karla for successfully passing her Real Estate Examination with the State of Arizona.
Jan 9, 2003 - Today is Kena's first day as a journalist. Your secrets no longer are your own!
Jan 6, 2003 - Dave gets his 6 week PSA test results back. Great news, the PSA level is measured at less than 0.1 ng/ml. This means that the operation in November was a major success. Now for the ten year wait to ensure all the cells were removed.
Dec. 20, 2002 - Fredric earns the right to flip his Karate belt from red/black to black/red. Now he begins training with Master DePalma to earn his black belt.
Dec. 2002 - Kena accepts an offer to be a fashion editor intern with the College Times. Her father immediately volunteers to be the photographer.
Dave survived his Nov. 6, 2002 surgery for prostate cancer. You will now be subjected to endless recountings of his experience.
Nov. 13 - Fredric is now a Life Scout with Troop 14!
September 2002 - Fredric receives his Second Red Belt in Kenpo Karate. His next belt will be black. His father considers this a mixed blessing.
August 2002 - Kena has added Arizona State University to her eclectic collection of experiences. Kena's current plan is to major in English. Her father and Karol, both former Wildcats, can only look on in horror.
